What data we collect

MyApplio stores the information you choose to add to your workspace, including:

  • Account and profile details, plus basic sign-in information from your authentication provider
  • Applications, companies, people, roles, events, links, notes, resumes, cover letters, and review runs
  • Public profile settings, public resume settings, and the contact details you choose to expose
  • Notification preferences, device records, billing metadata, and AI credit usage records
  • Technical logs and operational data needed to secure and run the service

How we use data

We use data to provide and improve the service, including to:

  • Store and display your workspace, resume, and cover letter content
  • Power AI-assisted review, import, rewrite, and generation features
  • Send notifications, manage subscriptions, and track AI credit usage
  • Show your public profile or public resume when you choose to make them public
  • Detect abuse, debug issues, and improve reliability

We may also use anonymized or aggregated data to understand product usage and improve the service.

Storage and third parties

MyApplio uses third-party infrastructure to operate the service, including authentication, storage, payments, AI processing, and notifications. Data is processed and stored only as needed to deliver the app.

  • Authentication and database hosting may be provided by Supabase
  • Website billing may be handled by Lemon Squeezy
  • AI features may use third-party AI providers or local processing depending on configuration

Sharing

Workspace data is not sold or used for advertising purposes.

  • We may share data with providers that help us host, secure, bill, or operate the service
  • If you enable public sharing, the selected resume and profile details become public by design
  • We may disclose data if required by law, to protect rights, or to investigate abuse or fraud

Retention and deletion

Data remains in the service until you delete it, remove your account, or it is removed through normal operational cleanup. When deletion controls exist in the product, they are intended to remove the related active records from your workspace.

Some records may remain in backups, logs, or other systems for a limited period if needed for security, troubleshooting, legal compliance, or operational continuity. Deleting your account does not automatically cancel an active subscription.

Your choices

You can control much of your data directly in the product:

  • Edit or delete many records in the workspace
  • Choose whether to publish a public profile or public resume
  • Adjust notification settings and device access
  • Manage paid subscriptions through the billing portal
  • Delete your account when you no longer want to use the service

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect data, but no internet-based service can guarantee perfect security. You should keep your login credentials secure and avoid sharing data you do not want to store in the service.
