Getting started
MyApplio is a focused workspace for managing job applications. It tracks applications, resumes, cover letters, events (screens, interviews, take-homes), people (recruiters, hiring managers), links, notes, and notifications in one place.
No. Sign in with Google and you get the Free plan immediately. A credit card is only needed if you choose to upgrade to Supporter or Pro.
MyApplio runs in the browser and is responsive. You can install it as a PWA from your browser to get an app-like experience on phones and desktops.
Yes. From the home page or sign-in screen, choose the demo workspace and explore the dashboard with sample applications, resumes, events, and people loaded in. The demo is read-only, so saves are blocked, but every page and feature is reachable to get a real feel for the workspace before you create an account.
Workspace features
Open any job posting on LinkedIn, Indeed, or a company careers page and click the MyApplio extension. The company, role, location, and job link are captured into a draft application in your workspace. You can keep browsing and edit the draft later, or open it right away to tailor a resume.
Yes. From the Applications page, paste rows or upload an xlsx, csv, tsv, or txt file. A downloadable template shows the exact column order, and you can also use the built-in AI prompt to ask ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini to fill the template from your messy notes. Up to 100 rows per import.
Upload an existing resume PDF and AI extracts contact, summary, experience, skills, and education into the resume editor. Your wording stays, and each section is editable from the first save. This uses one AI credit per import.
Imported or scraped postings often arrive with menu text, login prompts, and duplicated boilerplate around the actual description. AI cleanup rewrites the description and re-extracts the company, role, and location, then links them to clean records so the original mis-parsed names other applications use are left alone. Uses one credit per run.
Describe the job you want in plain language (role, seniority, location, industry) and AI searches the live web with Google Search grounding to surface matching openings. You can push any result into your pipeline as a draft application with one click.
Every draft can be scored against a candidate resume two ways. The rule check is a free keyword overlap score for instant feedback. The AI score weighs skills, seniority, and domain fit and returns a grade with a short rationale. Run either before tailoring a resume.
Yes. Any event (interview, deadline, take-home) has an iCal export so you can add it to Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, Outlook, or whatever you use. Map view also shows in-person interview locations and Google Maps directions for the commute.
MyApplio installs as a PWA so you can enable browser push notifications. Reminders surface interviews to prep, applications gone quiet for 14 days, and drafts that have been sitting for over 7 days. The Needs-attention view collects the same items in the dashboard.
You can pick from the templates shown in the public Templates gallery and edit every section in the editor. Templates control page styling (typography, spacing, accent color), so you choose the look and the editor handles your wording.
Public sharing publishes one resume to a clean URL that only people with the link can see. Resume search indexing is a separate opt-in that lets the resume appear in the public Resume Search directory. Both are off by default and controlled per resume from Settings > Public.
AI features
Each AI action (resume rewrite, cover letter draft, AI review) consumes a small number of credits. The Settings page shows the current pricing per action and your remaining balance. Rule-based reviews are free.
AI features run on external large language models. The specific provider may change over time as we benchmark for quality and credit efficiency.
The AI provider can occasionally be slow or unavailable. When a request fails or times out, the credit is refunded automatically and the refund appears in your AI credit ledger. You only spend credits on successful runs.
Subscription credits expire at the next billing period. Manual grants and welcome credits have their own expiry rules visible in the AI credits ledger.
Account & billing
Yes. Open Settings → Subscribe and use the billing portal. You keep your plan until the end of the current billing period; no future charges. Subscription cancellation is also handled automatically when you delete your account.
Your applications, resumes, cover letters, notes, and other personal data are deleted permanently. Active subscriptions are canceled with the next billing period as the effective date. You can also leave optional feedback during deletion.
Data is stored in a managed PostgreSQL database with row-level access controls so only you can see your records. Public sharing of resumes is opt-in per resume.
Sharing & collaboration
Yes. From Settings → Public you can choose a public URL, which resume to share, and what contact info to include. SEO and search indexing are off by default; you choose to opt in.
Only if you enable it. Settings → Public has a toggle for resume search and an optional list of search keywords you control.
